JD Wood has worked in the film industry, in e-commerce, and as a publisher, travel writer and author. He co-founded the travel website The Hotel Guru, and continues to travel widely and seek out great places to stay around the world, reported in his newsletter Where to write a novel. When he is not travelling and looking for the perfect place to write his novels, he lives in West London and writes in a shed at the end of his garden, with a big map on the wall.
